Of course, holidays can't be THAT smooth-sailing. Monday guard duty with kokli. But still super relaxing hahaha. Under my influence, kokli got lazier and wanted to slack more :D It was a fun duty and time passed really quickly.

I used to think I'm not scared of cats. Now, I find them creepy O.O There was a wild cat roaming around the first floor, desperate for food. We couldn't feed it because it would just ask for more food instead of relying on its survival instincts to hunt. Nah, we didn't want to feed it cos it might just stay there forever and trouble us.




Anyway, the actions done by cats are mysteriously weird. Just look at this cat with an arched back. Eerie.

Tuesday
morning tuition, afternoon gym with kokli guowei. Went to lot 1 at night for dinner and sampled 10 different brands of mooncake. That's when kokli n i thought of buying some quality mooncakes to share for 01, which was kind of fail.

Wednesday
morning badminton with army gang. Erm, boring. It can only be interesting if either 1. the guys are around my standard or 2. they are ppl whom i know v well or 3. they are interactive. So these guys don't talk (with the exception of jingyang cos he talked too much and his speech has no content) and I can't clique with them, and they also don't really play their best. So I dunno wat they were doing.

visited h&m with kokli. Oh my god. The stuff there is cheap and nice. Gotta earn more money.

went taka to sample like 50-70 different brands of mooncake with kokli.

planned this long ago actually. But it was the 7th month last time, and Sam was very reluctant to go all the way to the east to cycle. So.. anyway it happened when I tapped on jingx's linwei's sam's and jeremy's enthusiasm and took over the conducting role.

I suggested playing 24 while we were resting. Then, we wanted to make the game more exciting. The last guy to think of the answer will have to stay behind for 30s, while the rest of us will proceed to the next pavilion and start the next set of cards. The person with the most number of cards at the end of the game would have to do a forfeit and I suggested shouting XXX at the jetty. Sadly, no one wants to do the forfeit -.- No game is fun without forfeit!

Anyway it was pretty fun. It's like running man, the variety show in korea, but we call it the "cycling man". And I could never lose LOL!

noon tuition. Attended my cousin's wedding dinner at a restaurant in Novotel. I must say, it was a rather fail wedding. Uninteresting flow of events. No games. No astounding march-in or watsoever. Or maybe my standard's too high haha. Wedding is a once in a lifetime affair. Why not make it a blast for ur wife?

But then again, I'm too young to be speaking of weddings.





It's been some time since I've met up with them. I guess everyone has his own life, unless circumstances make people's paths cross, and only then can bonds be forged, but even so, maintaining it is another matter.


But that is when we are completely relying on destiny. Fate changes the circumstances that we're in, and our actions change fate.



Lastly, this was one good dinner, in terms of its food, because I've always thought wedding dinners are not supposed to fill ur stomach LOL! This was so filling!

And poor me, my face got red even though I only drank half a cup of red wine. -.- Then ppl come asking me "eh u ok ma? how much did u drink". -.- I shy luh can? Surrounded by pretty girls every time I drink. How can I not blush?

GGGGG. What I've been fearing of.. is here. Statistics. My tutee asked me to revise statistics with him. And all these while I've only been doing pure math. LOL. Can I study statistics in 1 week? Plus the fact that I have FTT test this friday and I haven't studied a single shit?

Finally a september holiday without homework or test or stress or outfield!

What's even better? 12KM ROUTE MARCH CANCELLED LOL. I'll hug u if I could, mr sky, for giving me free rain on my birthday hahaha.

Book in on tues, book out on wed :D then I started worrying about rotting at home. But nope! Busy like mad!

Thurs -- tuition, gym
Fri -- badminton, tuition x 2
Sat -- tuition x 2, 01, museum, book in, sleep 1.5hrs
Sun -- waste time and energy till 11am, eat, tuition


As we can see, my life is tuition everyday. How will I still want to be a teacher next time?? Crazy. I need to think of simpler ways to prove my points, because I like it when teachers are like that. Although I'm not going to become a teacher next time, how can I be a good one? What I'm learning now is putting myself in others' shoes.
During sunday's tuition, I daydreamed non-stop. I had some time cos my tutee was doing a qns. Then, I was in another world in super weird situations, and I opened my eyes again in a dreamy state and nearly wanted to turn to my left and talk to the auntie in my dream. It was insane. I can even dream of sth when I only dozed off momentarily. Great mind of mine eh?


badminton was fun with jeremy sam edwin. But I got a baluku at the back of my head T.T still hurts now, hope my intelligent juice don't leak out, if not many there won't be any great invention from this generation..


Once again, I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to still have friends, even more for the fact that we know each other since 101. why? No idea. Go there afk like statues/information counter. Runners keep coming and ask questions like "whr is the bus stop?" when the bus stop is only 50m in front of them. I also got to see how fucked up singaporeans are. 5 dustbins with diameter around 50cm placed at the kerb of the road, each one of them is 1m apart from the other. Runners are supposed to finish their bananas as they ran and throw the skin into the bins. Miss. MISS MISS MISS. WTF?! They might as well declare that they have problems aiming the spoon into their mouth when they eat!?!??!

of the groping incident in bus 190. That asshole tried to squeeze the rather old lady towards the window and according to a commuter who was standing, his hands were on her thigh. AND BY THE WAY HE IS AN OLD UNCLE, AGAIN PROVING MY PREVIOUS POINT. I was sitting behind him, what could I do? Make a fuss out of it? Kicked his seat in an attempt to wake up his idea, but the bus trip was already rough enough to shake his seat.

I was thinking, maybe he took advantage of the rough bus ride and inch towards the lady every bump the bus made. Act 一个 sleeping and listening to music with earphone with a droopy head some more. Okay, maybe he was really sleeping from my point of view, but the commuter's look of disgust confirmed my suspicion. Luckily that incident didn't last long and the lady alighted.

I felt very out of place. I was wearing a t-shirt and looked very under-dressed. Everyone else who was not in our group was smoking. Some people were very high, for some reason, while I was there, looking around, trying to get used to the surroundings and busying with leveling up my situational awareness.

I have been wondering what is my limit for alcohol. So that day, I just spammed the drinks. Around 8 cups with mixers, and a few random pure shots from the bottle. Siao. Once the effect kicked in, I was a goner. I was conscious but very very very dizzy. I even vomited twice in the toilet. That's how horrible it was. So I'm guessing, my limit should be around 4-5cups. And seriously, I prefer sweet drinks. Come thy sugar. Envelop me and fill me with.. wait, no. I need da gym n run.

Dancing was however fun! It is a very loose activity that allows you to de-stress by singing out loudly and jumping/shaking around. We got high easily and just went into the pool of people and zaaaaaaar. Actually I don't even know if that's called dancing. It was sooooo packed, 10 times worse than inside a mrt during peak hours. Everyone just went in and bua. But I do remember the champagne shower song being played and everyone was shouting along with hand gestures. Fun.

The very next day I suffered from hangover symptoms like fatigue and dizziness. But it was really fun before I couldn't take it lol. I'm such a poor drinker. $62.80 I'd rather buy a new shirt.

National Day Dinner @ Lot 1

Before clubbing was national day dinner. 9 course dinner that was quite yummy but not filling at all. It's like a 黄金年华 luh. 150 tables filled up by old uncles and aunties. There was a gift for august babies! Not bad huh? So I queued up excitedly and guess what the gift was.

4km route march with soft armour plates. At first I thought we were really lucky to not be marching with hard armour plates because they weigh a ton!! But apparently that is the case for all the companies. Then I saw Archer company marching without weapon. WTF!! How suay are we to have route march and be on standby-operation?!

Fortunately, we were the first company to book out on friday at 2pm + ^^. We got all eyes staring at us from all the other companies ah hahaha. Finally, cougar had its rest!

The idea initiated by me was dismissed and rejected without any thought into it. The same idea proposed by another guy was understood and accepted. Why? Just because I like to joke around, does that mean every time I open my mouth, I'm joking? Ever tried listening to the content of my speech before deciding if it's crap or not? This week was rather long, cos I got guard duty on Thurs and Sat. But that's ok bcos the 2 duties were sooooo slack :)


There was games day on Friday. But all lose :/.. For the 1.5km run competition, everyone in the company had to participate. While I put my best foot forward for every single stride, some people in my company just strolled at the back, and lagged a lot. Was it their indifferent attitude, or was it the universal fact that some people are just not that fast? I'm more inclined to believe in the first perception of them. Why. First of all, all of us are combat fit. How far apart can we be in just a 1.5km combat-fit-guys run? Some people just don't have the drive and passion to fight for their pride. Maybe that run seemed like an obligatory chore to them. But at least for me, I had a sense of belonging to Cougar. I ran the best I could, for Cougar.


And the 老鼠屎 were apparent in every company. It is inevitable. The world would definitely be a better place without their impediment. If I were a boss, I'd eradicate them all.


Best game was the water bomb game, just like that NJ orientation game. Only 15 participants, so I had to stand at the grand stand and watch the live war. What's so nice about it? GANG BANG! Influence of emcee on the participants by coercing them to attack one particular group! It was especially interesting bcos there were so many gangsters in my camp, and many of them were playing. The gang clashes were crazy. People rolled and flew LOL. Lucky I didn't join sia. Gangsters lol.

Unsurprisingly, tension rose and some got very agitated, including high ranking officers. I'm guessing vulgarities were flying everywhere on the field, together with water bombs. Am I evil to have enjoyed watching these gangsters flaunting their capabilities in physical destruction?

The wind blasting at my body was so cooling! Yea, that was not really a big deal right? 150km/hr LOL. Don't compare with aeroplanes cos u can't feel the wind when u're inside! I felt like a g6.


Just when project ppn is starting to take off, badminton interfered. ARGHHH. While I was playing with weights, some others were playing badminton in the hall! Shittttt. I missed badminton so much that I gymed for a while and joined them in 1 or 2 games.

Damn wasted, I put lots of pork inside my stomach instead of the cute xlbs! Should have eaten more xlbs hahaha. Oh, and my awesome table got huimin jane jasmine zhian kokli! huimin n I are prawn-ers >:) ate like 10+prawns, and I almost thought the prawn is free-flow 1 LOL! (they came from jianyu's table)
















We eat at the same time, but at 3 different tables. It's really very lame, meeting in the name of "01", eat, go home. :/ But that's not for me ha. Finally tasted haagen dazs ice cream! YEAAAAAAAAAA. To me, that was like the king of ice creams. Yum yum. I like tiramisu and raspberry!

lazing session with kokli and jianyu at lot 1. Too late to jio more ppl, but still hope to meet up for a while. We nearly succeeded in going to sing at the last min but cheap ktvs require reservation at least 1 week in advance -.- kbox: $26++, and after their calculation, they said it's about $40. O.O Okay. partyworld ktv: $90+ for 3 ppl O.O

We're not poor, but paying so much just to sing is stupid lol. A sad short night.

Last Sunday
KAYAK with weini vivien jasmine huimin swusan qingping jianyu! Woot it was fun! Partnering with huimin totally made kayaking a breeze haha. Managed to take a look at a 2m monitor lizard, a fish that jumped onto the angmohs' kayak, and nearly bumped into the looming overhanging branch in the mangrove swamp.

I was expecting us to go to the frog island or sth, but we just kayaked in and out of the swamp and tata? Too short! But ok la, could really tell that the camp goers were really tired from only a couple of hours of sleep. I can't wait for uni already.





















Ubin cycling next time! The ferry trips to and fro pulau ubin were reminiscent of the tekong days. Ah.. No way I'm going back again LOL

笨泥 is a fucked up platoon sergeant. Bias piece of shit. I was infuriated at his cowardice and actions this whole week, but I decided to take a step back because I might need his help in army. Now, in the civilian world, I can't really muster my indignation and criticise him. Hating someone is indeed very tiring. I'd rather ignore, just like what I did to kaiwen.


Life is math, sleep, gym, and a lil city hunter now. Gym gym gym. I hope there will be significant results because muscles training is really torturous -.- No pain no gain. garrrrrrrr. At least now I have some confidence in my physical strength, not like in the the past when I used to shun away from it! Perhaps the more essential takeaway from gym sessions is the boost in self-confidence.

Went to sing with huimin jasmine kokli jianyu! It was really a busy day for me, and I screwed myself up. I ran to the kitchen to get sth, then went back to the living room to take sth, then headed back to the kitchen again. A lot of stupid trips. Plus I didn't really have the feel to sing that day! Maybe it's because of the rush... So all the emo and high songs felt weird -.- 献丑了献丑了! But it was still rather enjoyable haha. 4hours is definitely not enough!


Thereafter we strolled to holland v, huimin's and jasmine's territory, for dinner at everything with fries! Yum yum charsiew, really worth my money trying. Pretty waitresses. DIY manager.

After kokli and jasmine balek kampong, the m1 gang continued to linger. That sleepless night was a lil painful for me, especially with the thought of tuition the next day. But it was like opening another gate that was in a deeper level in our hearts. A precious night to be remembered. The 3 of us were of the steady type, with more lax family restrictions and easy-going personalities. Great.

I was so elated when my tutee showed me his first test results! From a U/S grader, he got 59/100! That's a Bminus1! Or basically, a C! How delightful to know that your efforts has paid off! But I had trouble expressing my contentment because he could be aiming for an A, and he's a guy, and I have never joked with him, and some other factors..

I could have boarded the bus if I sprinted, but I didn't. So I calmed down, held my composure and mounted onto the saddle, poised to take the next step should chance arrive. 30mins, or what seemed like an eternity, passed. Did I make the right move? Was it better to wait when I could have grasped the fleeting moment? What if that was the last chance I had, and all that I got myself prepared for was for nothing? Just a simple incident of missing the bus, yet intriguing.
