So, driving seems easier and easier alr! But I still feel nervous every time I'm driving and a bit reluctant to go for each lesson :( half-clutch move is an ass.

I'm looking forward to clar's xmas party, boon's male fiesta, mind-boggling(I typed mind-boggling and then eh? my mind can blog?) megazip, the supposedly-long-awaited 01 chalet, wedding dinner at st.regis 7star hotel, seafood buffet. Oh my god. All these are happening from tmr onwards!? Even my mother also starts to nag me 哇你不要整天出去hor！

That also means all my $$ are gone now..

Then the stupid recruitment agencies cannot match jobs properly one. *TEMP ADMIN JOB $7-9 WEST O/A/ORD PERSONNEL WELCOME TO APPLY! LOTS OF VACANCIES* the advertisements are somewhat like that at jobscentral, but after I sent my resume with my expected salary "$7.50/hr", people still call me "Hi, may I speak to weijian? May I ask if you are still looking for a job? Okay I got an admin job for you and it's near your house. (ohhhh nice nice nice) It's $6.50 per hour."

O_O?! $7-9 becomes $6.50. What shit is this man. Give false info!? Seriously?! Not 1 or 2leh, almost everyone who called told me that.

That's why I still haven't found a job with office hours and at least $7/hr that is near my house. Got some already submitted luh but no news of me getting shortlisted for interview.

Most of the jobs also have this: *accounts assistant required! min 1 or 2 years of exp!* -.-" How am I supposed to gain experience before I start working? They need experienced workers but people can only gain experience when they work. How? Going round and round in circles and finally the dog caught its own tail?

Just give me a job already..

Lost track of time.. everyday seems like saturday to me. Days after ORD are shiok.

Went for 2 more interviews with recruitment agencies (lame shit). They are really useless ppl. I saw one guy from NTU Business doing recruitment at recruit express at taka last or last last week. Siao, he got 4th class honours or what? Why need to do this kind of insecure job with shit pay? Anyway all the interviews are about filling forms, pairing u up with the jobs that they have on hand, and if u are not an immediate worker, they smile, shake ur hand, and ktnxbai.

1 of them, recruitexpress from JTC building, told me, "Wa your expected salary so high ah, even ppl with experience settle for $6 per hour only leh". But my friends got at least a 7! >:| I'm not china worker ok.

Slacking at home could be really energising. Firstly I sleep at around 11 everyday, quite early. I wake up at around 9-10 everyday, don't know why I need to sleep for so long. Then it's refresh fb, play iphone game, lunch, refresh fb, afternoon nap, refresh fb, dinner, refresh fb, sleep again. Standard slacking. Sleep sleep sleep sleep. I nvr get tired of sleeping eh?

But the weird thing is I was quite tired this whole week. I don't feel like playing dota when I have nth to do. I'd rather sleep.

Then on wed, badminton, table tennis, decoder's cafe!

Badminton was rather fail, bcos I warned of the stupid sports hall that allows glaring sunlight to enter and blind players' vision, yet we went ahead to play. Why are there no sports hall in central area?! Right, CBD, no need no sports.

Then table tennis.. 我要玩1v1, 不要2v2啦. Listen alr also dulan. Play solo sports to show off ur individual skills. Hello we are not in a competition here. Play 2v2 for fun only, and can allow more ppl to play, wan to show off then go nude in the public toilet and flash flash. What can I do? Just go along lor.

At decoder's cafe, the fun started to unfold. From 7 to 4 men. Seriously don't give face 1. Travel so far to Clementi for an outing, stay a while longer for the outing ma, aiya I also don't know what to say. But anyway it was super hilarious in the cafe. The games were not funny. We were! Acting like neighbourhood kids looool.

Another singing session with army frens. Funny also. I don't know why but I like to be a lil immature when I'm with the army clique. I miss dancing with jingx jerm and myron alr.. 01guys are too rigid.





Yes, the whole city is full of golden pigs. LOL! We need stuff like this to brighten up our days.

There was one night when I went to clar's hse for mahjong. Played a lil of SF IV, then started the mahjong. yongchee started distributing the chips, ok, for better reflection of our standards? So the game began, with me only knowing how to 碰碰胡 and 平和, and not exactly know how to count 台. As usual, I joked around, lala, play this and that, on the move learning. An example is when I'm 莊, I told everyone to prepare to play 5 consecutive rounds, meaning I will win 5 rounds in a row. That came true, but all small wins by me! 1 of the rounds was an intentional draw lol. Then at the end of the game, we counted the chips, ah, blah blah, u won xxx, i lost xx, hahahahahaha. Then came the wallet.

I didn't know we were playing money! Luckily I lost $0 and won $0 in the end. I was shocked. Had I known, I would have played more seriously, or not played at all lol. I'm not a fan of gambling without special occasions..

Driving has become much more enjoyable and simpler now... It's amazing. It's like learning dota for the first time, having the need to multi-task. But once u get the hang of it, multi-tasking is quite exhilarating.

there was one turn that was so steep and I was at 5th gear, so, I drifted instead of slowing down. Simple. Just tap brake slightly, clutch in fast, change gear, hard accelerate, steer. Voila, your car can go deliver tofus in Japan now!

Just joking, drift 个屁。Get fined, license get revoked, go jail ah.

Yes, and thr's sth else. Watch! I've been spending a lot of time reading forums, checking out prices, functions etc of watches. Thanks again China, for screwing up everything in the world. Because of your cheap labour, everything is assembled in your country. The thing is prcs are unethical, unprofessional, dishonest and despicable. They will do anything to save money, such as using melamine as an ingredient. Because of this, I saved myself from buying Kenneth Cole watches.

What's left is a ssa011j2, and a spr005 from seiko. Still undecided whether I should spend the money on a watch, given the obliteration of the timekeeping function of watches now. It really is just an accessory.

So ghimsiang was standing on his point of view and giving me pointers. Some of his arguments are that one doesn't really use a watch: one only wears it; there are other items that I can buy to look good, like a pair of shoes, blazers, shirts, etc; and one might as well buy an expensive watch, or never buy a watch at all because mid-range watches are half-fucked. He suggested expensive fountain pens instead of watches as an accessory bcos at least pens can be used and expensive ones can suit one's writing style with added comfort.

What I'm disappointed in myself is how weak I am. I cannot fight for my point of view on the spot. My points only start coming in later.

Anyway all that is rubbish to me, and I believe some of men's important items are watches and shoes. $_$ let me decide for 1 or 2 more weeks. Maybe this desire will be extinguished.

One of the disadvantages of ORD is the huge drain on my wallet. So no more free food for me -> $ for meals. No more trainings to preoccupy my time -> $ for entertainment. No more tuition + allowance -> draw $ from reserves.

It's quite scary if I don't exercise some control on my expenditure..




Along with my army days, nokia 1202-2 has gone to the past. I will never forget my msges with u, my courage in u, and my lonely moments with u. U have served me well by never failing to function like a basic phone even though I dropped u hard a couple of times. Next time I see u will be the time when I tell stories about my army days..

I couldn't have imagined the life I've been having now. So carefree, so carrefour... almost an ntuc.

I've been spending time surfing the net for tech info, like jailbreaking and its pros and cons, how to prolong battery life, how to make 3g faster, why starhub sucks, blah blah. I can safely assure myself that my brain has never been geared towards techy stuff. I spent 2 days trying to resolve the starhub issue, and though I finally found a method to improve on its connection, I still don't know why it works. 2 days later, I removed that installation and starhub 3g works again. wth?

But I like it when technology has improved my life :) I need some tech geek to enlighten me!

First practical driving lesson! Oh my godz. It's so damn hard! What clutch, accelerator, then clutch, then change gear wthhhh!? It'll be a miracle if I ever get used to changing gears, braking, and the hardest of all, starting from gear 1. My instructor's "EEEEHHHHHHH 不要那么大力" only made me more kanjiong. But comparing his 26/hr to my 30/hr tuition, I think he's a having a hard time teaching as well.

And 1 of them my tutee knows how to do while I don't! O_O This is horrible. Time to consult amyas the genius. But meanwhile, my income is soon going to be $0 for 1 month..

And because A level questions are so much more challenging than O level ones, A level tuition offers a more exciting 2hrs than O level. But then the time taken to revise my work.. hmm.. Of course, holidays can't be THAT smooth-sailing. Monday guard duty with kokli. But still super relaxing hahaha. Under my influence, kokli got lazier and wanted to slack more :D It was a fun duty and time passed really quickly.

I used to think I'm not scared of cats. Now, I find them creepy O.O There was a wild cat roaming around the first floor, desperate for food. We couldn't feed it because it would just ask for more food instead of relying on its survival instincts to hunt. Nah, we didn't want to feed it cos it might just stay there forever and trouble us.




Anyway, the actions done by cats are mysteriously weird. Just look at this cat with an arched back. Eerie.



I prefer dogs.



Tuesday
morning tuition, afternoon gym with kokli guowei. Went to lot 1 at night for dinner and sampled 10 different brands of mooncake. That's when kokli n i thought of buying some quality mooncakes to share for 01, which was kind of fail.

Wednesday
morning badminton with army gang. Erm, boring. It can only be interesting if either 1. the guys are around my standard or 2. they are ppl whom i know v well or 3. they are interactive. So these guys don't talk (with the exception of jingyang cos he talked too much and his speech has no content) and I can't clique with them, and they also don't really play their best. So I dunno wat they were doing.

visited h&m with kokli. Oh my god. The stuff there is cheap and nice. Gotta earn more money.

went taka to sample like 50-70 different brands of mooncake with kokli.

why are we so gay. I have no idea. I wish I had a girl to accompany me instead.

planned this long ago actually. But it was the 7th month last time, and Sam was very reluctant to go all the way to the east to cycle. So.. anyway it happened when I tapped on jingx's linwei's sam's and jeremy's enthusiasm and took over the conducting role.

I suggested playing 24 while we were resting. Then, we wanted to make the game more exciting. The last guy to think of the answer will have to stay behind for 30s, while the rest of us will proceed to the next pavilion and start the next set of cards. The person with the most number of cards at the end of the game would have to do a forfeit and I suggested shouting XXX at the jetty. Sadly, no one wants to do the forfeit -.- No game is fun without forfeit!

Anyway it was pretty fun. It's like running man, the variety show in korea, but we call it the "cycling man". And I could never lose LOL!

morning tuition. Then another tuition in the evening, then the annual 01 mid-autumn fes gathering. I'd say the mooncakes weren't really popular. Sigh. Wrong flavours. But then again I dunno wat else we could do alr. At least ppl were singing to the songs and chillaxing.

Played 24 again. 01 girls are reaaalllll smart. Poor clarence lol. More forfeits!! :D

Saturday
noon tuition. Attended my cousin's wedding dinner at a restaurant in Novotel. I must say, it was a rather fail wedding. Uninteresting flow of events. No games. No astounding march-in or watsoever. Or maybe my standard's too high haha. Wedding is a once in a lifetime affair. Why not make it a blast for ur wife?

But then again, I'm too young to be speaking of weddings.





It's been some time since I've met up with them. I guess everyone has his own life, unless circumstances make people's paths cross, and only then can bonds be forged, but even so, maintaining it is another matter.


But that is when we are completely relying on destiny. Fate changes the circumstances that we're in, and our actions change fate.



Lastly, this was one good dinner, in terms of its food, because I've always thought wedding dinners are not supposed to fill ur stomach LOL! This was so filling!

And poor me, my face got red even though I only drank half a cup of red wine. -.- Then ppl come asking me "eh u ok ma? how much did u drink". -.- I shy luh can? Surrounded by pretty girls every time I drink. How can I not blush?

morning tuition.

GGGGG. What I've been fearing of.. is here. Statistics. My tutee asked me to revise statistics with him. And all these while I've only been doing pure math. LOL. Can I study statistics in 1 week? Plus the fact that I have FTT test this friday and I haven't studied a single shit?

I don't like soccer because I think it's rough. I prefer sports with lesser contact, like basketball or captain's ball or volleyball. Ok maybe not for basketball but basketball is safer! Like jingx said, I had bad experiences from playing soccer lol. I am super afraid of people ramming the soccer ball in front of me, for I could easily lose my Fathers' Day in the future. Brute strength *pfft

Unfortunately, soccer is still the most popular sport. Minus away soccer players, minus away those not interested in sports, minus away people who are injured and sick, no one is left to play 'safe' sports with me!


Monday guard duty was scary. Was prowling and slacking with kokli and then suddenly 1 guy walked towards us. My heart skipped 2 beats! Could have easily been dismembered by that guy. How lucky are we.. Another sleepless night Z.Z
