Are you kidding? Your parents pay tax to fund mindef only to let us NSFs have chalet in army? Chill, it's only this week. LOL! There were only morning runs, then after that was rest, lunch, rest, dinner, rest, RO. Hehehehehehehehe. This allowed me to clear pirates of the caribbean 1 to 3, the hangover part1, thor, limitless, battle: los angeles, the gameplan, what women want, fully revise integration, finish studying for btt and sleeeeep :D
The fun excludes Wednesday night, when I had to protect the camp from imaginary terrorists, who might not have enough intelligence to inform them of the outdated tanks inside. So, I learnt my lesson not to dumb-wittingly tribute my royal blood to the likes of blood thirsty creatures: I slept in the room with sofa and tv, but on the bench. Well, I wasn't expecting much sleep from that anyway, with the rumbling thunder above me and the occasional weird bites from god-knows-what insect in that room.. *sigh.
This is one crazy movie. I like the screwed up feeling haha, because I'm not the one screwed up inside.
Saturday
A short 1hr badminton! But it was intense with kokli, so I was exhausted as quickly as the speed of the disappearance of a jar of sweets that was placed in a room full of children. The thrill derived from a singles match is different from that of a doubles match. In the latter, chemistry is the gist of the excitement. The non-verbal communication and instinctive matching moves to cover-up each other's open spots just makes the pair-work feel exhilarating. I prefer this to a one-man-show match. Looking forward to doubles!
This brings me to another point. I've been wondering why there are people who I can never click with, no matter how hard I try. The chemistry is just not there. People like jeremy and junhe can click with anyone.
There has to be a common goal or interest for the growth of friendship. Likewise, if the life paths of 2 good friends split, the goal or interest is diverted so there is high chance that the friendship will deteriorate. 01 [01 is a very customised term for this specific clique of us and though it includes people like afiq and peiyang, we generally refer 01 to the core group of 01-inverse] still exists but according to the theory, we shouldn't be. For the guys, our paths are split, but we have a common goal: ORD. For the girls, they err have to study? Do friends congregate only if they have a purpose? Yes, maybe. If that's the case then 01 will be like a family. Family members are comfortable with one another anytime. But even for family members, there has to be constant interactions from activities to maintain the bond. Imagine ignoring your sibling for 1 year. That's why some of us are trying and only some of us are together.
If you are committed, you wouldn't stop trying.
ERMMMM. Ok the storyline is rather lame. All I could remember was the appearance of ugly vampires and werewolves, and free sex from the girl. Really ugly monsters. Predictable plot also. Winter's bone is comparable to this film, well, at least I laughed like mad when watching the former.
There are some people whom you can talk to anytime about anything, and some whose faces you can keep staring and staring but not knowing what to say. What's the reason?
Diaries should be more than written feelings and thoughts. Recounts are as important because they place you into the then scenario and this helps in recollection. Besides, a recount style makes the future you want to read on, no? It also helps to keep track of the chronological order of the development of thoughts.
Still waiting for the day when I can shout "ORD LO!" and mean what I say.
