Luckily there was a nights out on Tuesday night. Stupid spectacles broke again -.- Repair specs, go home take wet tissue, toilet paper, underwear, plastic bags, and maybe some other random stuff that I forget to bring when I booked in -.- Too forgetful alr.

After booking in, I was all ready for the river-crossing R4 2days1night fieldcamp..
HA! In the end no river-crossing! :))) Again, mosquitoes flooded our areas and just sucked like free. The best part was the night snack-cheese bread on the first night. Really 雪中送炭! Saved my poor stomach. So, I told myself I must have something nice this weekend.



Buffet at MOF! Wa the chocolate was too filling, and not very smooth. Overall I would say the money wasn't well spent. Could have better food with that money. Next, bbq buffet!!!!!

I think that idiom above refers to any unlucky event, because I just missed a lunar eclipse on Thursday T.T That heartbreaker moon caused lots of hearts all over the world to shatter, thanks to clouds and rains. There goes my chance of turning into a werewolf...


Life's good, and bad, as usual.

I went for an enjoyable 4.5km night jog on Tuesday, a tranquilising moment between me and mother earth. Inhale, stars, exhale, trees, moon, inhale, clouds, exhale, chio girls, .. No chio girls. I could feel the stark contrast in the level of oxygen between running at night and in the morning. No just joking, that's because I still remember a bit from lower secondary science. But it was a peaceful workout :) Perhaps I should try longer distances next time.


On Saturday morning, a verdict was made..

Event of the week: the pizza. coolz. Ate 3 pieces. and the not-so-tasty frittata. I expected it to be better, since it's so similar to rattata.

O.O And the combination of people is erm. You know.. we all know.. seemingly awkward. Turned out to be fun though :D edwin is not what I imagined him to be like hahaha.

While shopping for my earphone, I visited ghimsiang vivien and cherlene. Funny people. But I don't dare to disturb them cos there's a 老闆娘 at the side and she looked like she type who will get angry. Next time I wanna try working as a promoter!

Had an enjoyable chat with jeremy. But I felt weird, awkward and uneasy on the same table with yumei swusan and kokli. kokli called this the post polyclinic phenomenon ppp. pipanigelongdingdong. I forgot how to socialise with people. kokli might be in the same camp and same company as me, but we don't seem to be very close. Others were even shocked that we know each other last time. Why? I also find myself thinking of topics to talk with him, and usually it's only 01. Lol, I'm a goner, I feel super nua now. No purpose, no goal. Empty.


Noel stormed out of the room after a comment I made. I felt so sorry then, and keep mulling over my choice of words. He told me, "Actually, you are suay la, just nice my mood not good." After some contemplation, I felt that his flared temperament was unjustified. I had no need to feel sorry at all. My comment wasn't even about a sensitive topic, neither is it crude nor accusatory. It wasn't even anything. So, my empathy turned into indignation. How could he just flare up for nothing, perhaps in an attempt to even "win" others' votes for.. I don't know what for. That's the second time he's flared up for no reason. I swear, the third time he does this, I'm going to give him a dressing down.

The story goes like this..

One fine night, po wore his favourite teletubbies costume, lied on his bed and watched Fast n Furious 1 on his itouch. 30mins into the video, he felt something weird going on with his body so he decided to pause the video and sleep early. However, the sick feeling didn't go away. It was until when everyone had slept then he couldn't tolerate the nausea anymore. He rushed to the toilet and unleashed a stream of "dinner".

In short, 2 vomits and 1 diarrhea. Thinking it was food poisoning and that food poisoning could some times be deadly, po was worried. He grabbed his 11b, camp pass, toilet roll and rode his scooter to the medical center. "Sorry ah, the driver says he wants to finish his comedy, 5mins k?" said the medic. 5mins took 15mins.

Thereafter, medical center -> tengah airbase medical center, which was where po endured a night that lasted like an eternity. Po was also poked 7 times on his arms by inexperienced medics, and each time felt so painful. He had to battle against the super cold sickbay [they blast the aircon in the sickbay for what, seriously? let those who have fever die?], the constant urge to vomit, the odd stomach pain, headache, slight fever and dizziness. There was a sachet of sth that he had to drink, but after drinking that, he vomited everything out. For fear of breaking the needle for the IV drip, he lied on the bed and tried his very best to keep his right arm still. This made his back ache. Every hour, he would wake up, struggle, and sleep again, until dawn. Thanks to the inexperienced medics, the IV drip was set too slow, it's like po's blood hasn't got any IV inside.

NUH
So, the medical officer declared that po's condition has not improved after 1 night, and that he had to be sent to NUH A&E. The aircon there was also blasting as though electricity is free in hospitals. Diagnosis showed that it was viral infection, not food poisoning, thank goodness. Poked 2 more times, struggled against the aircon again, waited for DAMN DAMN LONG, then get discharged. But that was not the end. Po was still unwell. Even when po went home to rest, he felt extremely sick. It was 10x worse than flu and fever.

Nothing to do? Sleep. Po slept for 2 full days and ate food that would normally only last him a few hours. It was not until a third excretion from the ass did the condition improve. On thurs morning, Po was able to play scooter again.

Thanks to LTA jiahao for taking care of me during the NUH visit, my mother for cooking delicious fish vermicelli but I couldn't eat much, brothers who offered help in any way they could, friends who happen to know my unpleasant predicament and showed their priceless concern, medics for their apathetic attitude which resulted in my delay of treatment.

That was one hell of an ordeal that I had been through. It was horrible, yet it was only a viral infection. Thankfully it was over.
