Yet another busy week.
Proj x 3 + OP + tutorials. These were what troubled me this week. But guess what... my troubles were uncalled for. Why? Simple. First proj meet-up: proj mates sounded like they had no clue on what was going on, and were "smoking" their way through by saying rubbish. And by rubbish, I mean saying the "duh?" words and over-simplifying things to be "just collate and combine then can already." VERY MUCH LIKE B.TAN in army last time. Ya, as if things were as easy as just collate and combine. Dont even have a clear direction or concept about the crisis. Second proj: watching running man while the rest discussed, and going off early.
Proj in uni seems rather meaningless if it's just about slides and reports. How can that be called teamwork?
All this when I spent a substantial amount of time researching. Maybe I should chillax.

Really busy these days. But mainly due to the fact that I have 4 tutees -.-" The amount of time spent on your tutees is not just as simple as the tuition time. You need to freshen up before you exit the house, factor in traveling time to and fro, extension of tuition at times, and the depletion of energy at the end of it. (2+2+1.5+3)x1.5 that's like 2 days gone for my weekend. I'm left with another 2 days for work and leisure. Horrible... and unforeseen. Sigh. I wonder if I can call this suffocating.
Then again I should not complain!! There will definitely be more ppl having more stress. Okay maybe reduce the readings... Though I feel a bit crippled.
Didnt get into tax subcom, got into sife ocip but cant really commit as of now, observed that ppl started to read lecture notes in advance and ask questions that would be answered in the next slide just to get "class participation". Spoil market! Everything seemed so competitive now. As usual catch no balls of what IT is about, but from what I saw in the past year papers... students are supposed to memorise everything, which i haven't even tried understanding, let alone memorise? FM tutorial was spoilt by the stupid presentation. The pace was sooooo fast?! There shouldn't even be a presentation la. Waste the group's time, waste everybody's time. I bet no one in that seminar understood anything at all while the presentation was going on. *facepalm. Self-study.
Did my first presentation in com fund, and was super nervous of course. Then I looked at the recording and -.-" note to self: try confidence even if it's a false one!
Yup, and army friends are joining all the runs while i am still a bit afraid of overloading. Next sem onwards, 2 tutees! I hope I only have 1, but i cant. Oh well, 2 ba! For now... I think the rest might be slipping me away...

仙人掌 has a very intriguing shape hmm..
Lots of things happened! Went to CCA fair and felt like a lost sheep. Some ppl got OG friends, some hall mates, some other friends, blah blah. So I was neither here nor there. Not a good social animal. But humans need to belong to a social clique to feel secure. Oh well. Realised there was no NTU vball booth, then skating was rather expensive, and no close friends to join dance with me. So decided to join Tax Advisory Club. Yes la sian, but at least can write sth there ma. Join subcom lo.
Cant wait to drop my tutees now. Feeling a bit overwhelmed. So many readings to do, so little time! I bet no one really went to read every single reading assigned to us?! Crazy. I can't slack anymore. Maybe I'll have more time for CCA next year?
But the worse is the class participation. You can see all the kiasu spiders/cockroaches raising their hands and shooting questions. Many of them just like to act yi ge and be critical about the words. blahblah. What if I understood so I didn't raise my hands? ahha! you minus points you noob. But I'm not smart and I cannot come out with smart questions to ask. Okay just gotta read more. Not gonna be one of the kiasu students. And the FM tutor said she will give a sweet to the student who participated, and to record the wrapper after lesson. WTS. Need to do until like that?!

01 meet-up at holland v! Wasnt supposed to celebrate my birthday but the 01 peeps bought a cake and sang a song anyway. Thanks! Everyone is busy, so just carry on with life and meet up once in a while ba. It's just inevitable, but good to have a few friends to hang out and talk cock with.
Hope things will be more natural.

Korean bbq!! all the meat... yumyum. somebody ate 同类 on the plate, so evil :p and of course, motivational study session! Always thinking of ways to dabao someone, but need to add 20c and use plastic bag.
Superb effort and awesomeness :)) a memory etched deep inside. Thanks to the level of sugar, I remained in molten state the whole day >< no amount of thanks is enough hehe. Some times I still wonder about my unbelievable luck~ Nice trees, good light system, 2 towers with a plate on top, got place to rest my butt, but most importantly, got a cute little frog leaping around.

So! Went for NBS and NTU welcome ceremony. Got to know tutorial mates. Scary. A bit tired of describing myself to new ppl over and over again. Which school were you from? CCA? Did you go for any orientation camp? Which OG? Are you staying in hall? Why/where? Where did you have your haircut, why so ugly? -.-"
NTU welcome ceremony was a joke hahahaha. Preventing ppl from leaving with the jacket in the goodie bag?! The jacket got so sacred ah? Looks like a tiong jacket. And of course do all the lame wear gown and recite stuff and some blahblah from profs. Only half of the auditorium was filled and 99% were from NBS. Very obedient teachers-to-be..
But I'm glad that I found some of them easy to clique with, or rather my style of ppl hehe. Dont like intimidating ppl. But 1 year.. Hope to make some friends? Didnt manage to in JC (2yrs) though.
School is starting! Quite worried about it. Especially when I'm not very updated with current affairs.. and all the business thing seem chim

All the my father's friend, my relatives, my friend's father's friend la etc.. what happened to their eyes/ears ah? Say until a living person is dead. Hahahaha. But jokes aside, I do hope his contribution will continue, even though some things are inevitable eventually...

Nearly spoiled my monday! grrr. I think holding sth in my mind is tiring, so might as well forgive and forget. Important to 自食其力. Some ppl get disappointments when they rely on others, so they decided to make use of their capabilities. Some treat others as their resources and will try to use them as much as possible, until they are used, then they start to see what they can do on their sides. Just saying.

So I went for my IPPT and got silver hyahyahya... Had the chance of getting gold but my lungs couldnt take it. Pretty surprised by my sbj distance even though I havent train my thighs for so long. And my pull-ups not that bad huh. Pulled my thigh muscle while running shuttle run. Looking at those older reservists made me worry for myself. Uncle-to-be? Better run a bit and work out a bit!

3-4yrs and then a change. Mere-exposure effect? Dont really think it's a good reason because it just explains the lack of effort to the other half. But if that's so, then it really is inevitable and it's better off early than late. poor thing.

Officially matriculated into NTU! Lots of question marks regarding the electives what GER what AUs what requirement prescribed electives unrestricted electives add/drop etc. Felt rather frustrated because I don't understand! NUS even worse... till need to bid this and that. In the end education becomes something like luck and gambling.
NBS outing at Fish n Co! Nth much seriously. Such a big group. How to talk? The group instantly splits into many different cliques. The guai ones, the beng ones, the "steady" or rich ones, the super quiet ones. Again, play orientation games la, shoot shag marry, first 3 choices blah blah. I think this kind of outings is more for the prominent and talkative ones.
Dear drive/passion/motivation, please infect me again. Give me the fiery desire to strive for my best now.

And Bane was really scary. Big sized and better than batman in close combat. How to win?! Had the feeling that all hopes were lost.

Back from NBS FOC! Bua all the xiaomeimeis! muahahahaha. My OG is such a quiet OG. Quiet girls, guys who act cool, gls just anyhow shouting. Like that lor. Could have been more crazy! But the activities were crazy enough haha. 4hours of sleep was -.-" made me feel like a zombie only. Okay la, I also not very crazy there hahaha. Act yige cool.

I have an awesome liver
these few days have been nuanuanua! I like to nua! I like to sleep! 11am is the best time to wake up hahaha. The sleeps I get these days are priceless. Dont know when I can get to sleep like this again. 睡个懒觉 sorry it just sounds so crude.
SO! What have I been doing? Hmm. Running and some minor workouts. Gone alr, now I know why people get more and more unfit after NS. It is inevitable. Just like why yellow has double L. It's just like that. But I'll tryyyyy. baabaa needs to be good to touch. Booked the "free" ippt. Hope can at least get silver now -.-" far cry from my standard 1.5yrs ago huh. I'm just not the kind of person who runs for a living.
My power chain disappeared, probably because I swallowed it. So I went back to JP for it. A few days later, one of my brackets fell off. @#$%#W^#$ It's so troublesome!! And when I went back the second time, the orthodontist was on leave. Tsk. So hope I can take off my braces soon. But then again I'm afraid I might look weird after taking it off. Sigh. Okay I better not complain so much of my 1st world problems. There are far more pitiful souls on earth...
