I thought i do understand mono ppl, like they are just normal. But no. I got to be on guard. Those ppl are full of pretence and hypocrisy. Not all, though. Oh well, i dunno. And then i got targetted this week for nth. *sigh My luck was really down down down this week. I wonder what have i done to deserve this.

Just had a nice break :D Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with vivien enlin kaisheng jianyu on sat, then with swusan huimin qingping kokli kianmin clarence on sun. Playing with candles wasn't that fun after all LOL! We've all grown up. That's good. Next year we gotta do smth different...

Then went to watch step up 3d with gums and junhe.

Quite funny and cool but i realise i don't really like those break dance moves o.o too punk. I like the part when they danced with water. Nice! But the dance battles are...lame. No scoring point no nth, how they judge?

Oh yes, played vball too after soooo long. Now that ite west is open to public, i think we're gonna have lots of vball playing sessions hehehee :)

Platoon ic for 1whole month. It's a tough job. Everytime we need to fall in, i got the extra responsibility to ensure everyone's thr. And then thr are ppl who will always be late. Count strength, report strength lalala. Toughest thing is to ask them to do stuff. No one wants to do sai gang. But the job has to be done. I tried my best to make everyone in the platoon get an equal share of sai gang but the mono ppl are always so irresponsible and indifferent. Sian. Luckily it's over.


This week was fun! It was a short 4 day week and we got to watch movie and play basketball. Coool. A lot of slack time compared to previous weeksssss. But still got physical training. It's like what i thought army would be before i enlist. Build body muscles then slack. But no. Army = outfield. For me at least. And outfield = shag + sweaty + no muscles training + sai gang. Other than equipping us soldiers with battle skills, outfield has no advantages.


Went to mind cafe at raffles-place-mrt-shophouses-singapore-river (i dunno wat that place is but i know got these stuff). Why not settlers? SMU and clarke quay outlet fully booked. But both places were empty when we reached thr. Hope the ppl who booked slots pangseh them ^^ Settlers cafe > Mind cafe in terms of cost, service, drinks, games, atmosphere, toilet, accessibility and other watever stuff like fresh air straw design etc. All in all, settlers cafe was more worth it. But nvm. Kokli jianyu ghimsiang vivien and i made the trip worth it haha. I love those reaction games and those games that requires ppl to be creative. FUNNY :D


Finally tried KOI bubble tea. Caramel flavour was nice :D and vivien went to buy a large cup drink until she felt bloated ah hahaha. Too bad the day ended early.


I was all ready for the 10km army half marathon this sunday. SO SUAY I KENNA GUARD DUTY. T_T Next time go participate the standard chartered marathon liao. Then can get the tshirt [finisher of 42.1956673255 km].

Fooooooood Week

3d3n field camp. That means....COMBAT RATIONS. WTF. Yes, that also means slim down time. So what's for dinner on tuesday night? 7 horlick malties sweets. That's all. No joke. Then on wednesday night? 1 fruit bar and 1 packet of cereal. Nvm, i endure...endure... I thought thursday got proper food already but they said "eat your combat rations". ... ... ...

But thanks to this, i realised how yummy maggie mee can be. It brings warmth to my cold growling stomach and made me feel more comfortable. (Y) Next time i'm gonna stop my laziness and cook myself a slurpy bowl of maggie mee at home!

That was not all for the monstrous field camp. MOSQUITOES. SOMEONE HAS TO STOP THEM! They are evil bitches. I killed 20+ mosquitoes in 3 days 3 nights. 80% of them are aedes -.- It's kind of shiok to predict mosquitoes movvement and kill them :D Go and die, suckers!

So, the cougar frens went on to plot a power buffet on friday night. Fail here fail thr...in the end went to crystal jade to eat la mian. Spicy daoo.....

Saturday
oh yea! Lovely weekend! Went to settlers' cafe with ghimsiang kaisheng enlin jasmine. FUN! I like "Dix It" ! And it's 10bucks for 6 hrs! [supposedly but we only went for 3hrs. i'm a sorry kid.] Next time gotta go play again man. Then went to kenny roger to eat with additonal gan n boon. And comex to look for yumei. Overall a good day.

Jurong east shuttle bus to clementi. The signboard read "Journey time: 45min" -.- I believed it and took around 45mins searching for other buses to reach the other side of sg, then went back to take the shuttle bus. It took only 15mins. Nice planning by smrt. Good estimate.

BUFFFEEETTT at suki with vball mates! kun tf zhikai ghim boon zp ray chee clar me. Before we started, we wanted 2 tables next to each other but can't. Thr was a table with an ah tiong occupying it. 1man6seats. Nvm, we planned to wait for him to finish (he alr stopped ordering) then we can kop his table and the table behind him.

Wait wait wait, "eh that ah tiong eat v slow hor?"
5mins: "eh faster leh chao ah tiong"
10mins: "that ah tiong sibei gay leh carry that girlish handbag"
15mins: "WTF tt ah tiong is actually sleeping on his table!?!?"

Yes, he actually slept on his table. We laughed until buay tahan. It's like he knew we wanted his table but still wan to guai lan and occupy that table. We abandoned that idea and split ourselves into 2 groups. Heng we nvr wait. 2 hrs later that chao ah gua ah tiong was still thr ah-gua-ing.

Birthday in the jungle. Ok, i got to see the ravishing beauty of the moon (Y). Marvelous. So bright that we can see our shadows clearly. Power not.



Can enjoy gazing at the moon, sleep on grass patch, drink some water, eat some night snacks, very shiok hor? A BIG NO! Idiotic flies and mosquitoes flooooood the whole grass patch such that i'm slapping my own face every single second. How to sleep? No idea, i didn't sleep much. Worse, i got a foot rot. Maximum itchiness.



*slap slap slap, 1.5hrs gone, my turn to stay up for sentry duty , 2hrs later break of dawn.

And then a few lucky ones kenna guard duty on a saturday. Lalalalala very nice indeed. SGT zhao long is an arse. Pick on me for nth! Force me to abandon my gay buddy gums and do the stupid sentry guard instead of prowler. Bastard.








Always wan to give the guai lan mouth: stretch until he can eat bread as a whole. Don't wan to criticise his guai lan face but no choice, it really intensifies his guai-lan-ness.














Oh well that was a blessing in disguise. Turns out that prowlers have to tahan the sun while sentry guards can enjoy the shade ^^ Only problem is it's super sian stoning there and rotting away.

3 x outfield sessions in 6 days. WHOAAAAAAAAA CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT. So eventful. Thinking back, ndp just ended last week O_O.

Bashing through the woods is not easy shit. With all the mud and grass, even 400m seems like 1km. And when your commander navigates like a cock...GG. Walk the extra mile liao.

Nights out on thursday. 2 hours flew past just like that. My beloved 975 played tricks with me again: waited for 20mins and it's still missing. "I say alr ah. Those who are late, go sign 3." ffffffffish. With only 10mins to spare, "hello pa, can u send me to my camp?" Vroom vroom motorbike with speed exceeding 100km/hr. (y) nice. And then followed by a sprint for my life. Heng i was on the dot. Thannnkkkks dad.

The best day has got to be thursday. It was raining more than cats and dogs. I think elephants dropped from the sky. Outfield + rain + mud + river-like-area = smiley face =) But it was an experience. When it was my turn to prone down onto the wet ground, i knew i had to nth more to lose alr, just let the water eat me up. From that point on, all the mud and river were no kick cos i can't get any more wetter alr.

The more i hate sai gang, the more i get em! Store party. If i'm not wrong, my vocation is armoured infantry trooper, not storeman. Oh well, at least there was some 甜头. Got to share a packet of muah chee with the store party. NICEEE How long i nvr eat muah chee alr! I only know pasar malam got.

Saturday live firing. okok, except i dunno how to sit on the ground and sleep. Either my butt or my back will hurt. For the night shoot, we shot from 8pm till around 1+am and then we received a good news! :DDDDDD "CEASE FIRE CEASE FIRE! We are stopping because of YOG." WHAT THE... They are scared that gunfire sounds will affect the performance of athletes sleeping in NTU. Everyone unhappy liao. Have to reshoot night firing on some other days. T.T

Then on sunday, went to msia to uhm yum yum some good stuff! Visited my...i-dunno-how-to-address-relative. Whoa they got ripstik, the new skateboard!

Oh yea.. an outing by the organisers for the organiser. hahaha. Went out with jerms and gums. Wanted to catch the liar game but jerms and i were late. But then...

Love in disguise! Whoaaa this movie is niceeee! Very funny. A bit touching. Nice music (waiting for the soundtracks to come out). Some lame scenes -.- and maybe quite typical rich-guy-go-poor-n-know-a-girl plot. Don't care, it's nice.

Going out with jerms and gums was nice too. We got lots to talk about. No not the typical army boys' army talk. Quite a comfortable group. Though i must say gums get really insane sometimes O.O especially when it's in the public.

I don't really like to talk a lot about army stuff cos others can only "ooh. yea i see. nice. is it? wow."

As i lazed all over my bed before i got out of it, i decided to visit STOMP through my itouch. LOL! It's freaking hilarious! ESPECIALLY THE COMMENTS. How creative some ppl are...

Went out with the usual 05 peeps yuzhi glen jits qinrui zhiler to share the night together. Subway's chilli crab sandwich was the best. We were alr guessing it could be lame crabsticks, and poom: we got it. Waste $$

Then watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice! Not bad leh. Quite funny. Jay Baruchel made this movie nice :D

Happy National Day!

wowz the fireworks are spectacular! The best fireworks display for 9 weeks. They v niao, use a bit for rehearsals, and a lil bit more for NE shows.

Missed the visit to qinrui's yacht. Yacht leh. Waaaaaaa

Tuesday

Yay recovery of stores. I wonder what happened to "work in the morning then you all can rest in the afternoon". We worked from morning till 4pm. Had only 1 hr rest and a lunch break. Clean drain sweep floor throw rubbish. We might be given the license for area-cleaning after 2 years man. Then maybe get a clean-clean scholarship and fly to harvord to study more bout cleaning.

At night, we had steamboat in camp! All-guys steamboat was something wild. Drunkards everywhere.

Wednesday

Kbox time by sing gan! weini vivien swusan jane kokli n me. I rmb feeling a bit stony haha. Would be better if we can sing more!

Then at subway, we crapped a lot. Or rather vivien jane n swusan crapped a lot. Just sit thr and listen to their talk and you'll probably end up laughing.

This week was fun! But then OC said :"After this break, you all will have lots of outfield. The tempo will be higher. So be prepared."

Rightttt. If the training tempo for the previous 9 weeks is not high, how insane will the next few weeks be!?
