yeaaaa I'm lagging behind by 2 years I know. But I just decided to try this.

Seriously, do koreans have a significantly decreased peripheral vision or what?! Or they just lack the sense of awareness?! All these are apparent from korean shows! They can't seem to see their sides without turning their heads! LOL!

bangkok's flooding is.. a very sad case. Why so suay?! seriously? But thanks jane for coordinating the booking and such. I feel guilty for not involving myself a bit more for the trip. My only contribution, research on bangkok's shopping areas, just got doused by that literally "wet" blanket.
That's not all. spooktacular was a mega fail. I felt quite sad actually. I thought it looked so fun. But I didn't want to debit my bank account any further. It's painful. Plus my expenses for these 2 weeks has exceeded 1k. w.t.f. 2weeks. Lets not just say my mother is unhappy with it. I, too, feel it's troublesome to collect payment. They say 谈钱伤感情. Plus the fact that it costs 1dollar more per person for online ticketing, I think it's a no-go. Maybe next time I'll be desperate and go for online booking ba.
And however hard I try to convince myself that I'm not a 吃玻璃长大的人, a small portion of me still thinks otherwise. Perhaps I've placed too high a priority on this. I know I'm someone who is easily influenced. Because of influences, I've slackened a lot. But I shouldn't be, because then I wouldn't be myself. Yet, most of the people out there are like that, with bad habits and such. What can I do? I won't lose out if I follow, but I'll lose myself if I do...
Then again, I wondered. I asked. I got " 谁叫你贪玩?" yea, who? why the fuchsia did I seek fun? I have now decided that it doesn't do me any good. Apparently, for so long, I've been mindlessly doing it. Just like when I played maple, just like how ppl can go clubbing every week, just like how ppl can play computer games all day long: just do only. It's when u stop to ponder the rational, then logic will get back its control. Maybe I could be a better person if I sought less fun. Maybe then I could value my self-esteem more.
About the art of pursuit, I mulled over another concept. "love sought is good, given unsought is better". Why? Sure it seems good from the receiver's point of view. But wouldn't one appreciate it more if it is obtained through one's efforts? And if that's the case then everyone will be waiting for it. Nothing will happen.

Just on the night before my flight, I decided to pen down my thoughts and feelings for the past 2 weeks. If not, I might just forget this awesome period. Yea, quite fun.

3days in camp week. Thought I earned a free off, but the tradeoff was to be company IC. It really doesn't pay to owe others favours. Being the company IC wasn't really that bad. But still, I have the responsibility of ensuring the attendance of soldiers. Basically, company IC is the scapegoat for everything that goes wrong.

"How long do you need to report strength?" - ask them?! not me!? now it's my fault for not rushing them
"Why is HQ platoon so slow?" -ask them!?!?!?!?!?

Yea, retarded system. Guy X does something wrong, guy Y takes the blame, Guy Z gets punished.

Anywayz that week's highlight was 01 nanxiang restaurant with huimin swusan kokli kaisheng jianyu kenneth. $200+ bill O_O Should have invested in more discount papers. But to do this, you need a group of friends who are free, willing to spend, and willing to spend with u. That's the only thing that is holding me back from koping all the coupons.

The food was like oral sex. Golden fried rice ahhhh. 咸蛋炒虾 ahhh. XLB was okok i think.

Another 3days in camp. Good life ah, relacjack! LOL Relacjack!? wtf is relacjack?! Jingx came up with an explanation for this term by our CSM.

Once upon a time, there was a boy named jack. He was very lazy and his mum sent him to the market to sell their cow. However, jack, being a very relac boy, traded the cow for 5 magic beans and went home early.

Mega haircut. The auntie called it the "wallaby hairstyle" -.- Kokli says I look like the maplestory character with the toben hairstyle, aka centre parting. Thanks kokli. Love his comparison. Nvm this will probably be the last time that my hair is this short!


On tuesday, there was a company cohesion. Each platoon got 2 steamboats. Ok, the food not very nice, but the beer and the drinking games are 赞! Introducing beepbobeepbo and some standing game from the running man. Ah, I love these games cos I find myself having a hard time to lose everytime! But I dun mind losing and doing forfeits.

After the cohesion, some of them wanted to have a slumber party at section 1. I went over for a while, but decided to go back and sleep properly. Why such a wet blanket? Thanks to the cold weather these days, my nose was utterly blocked. It's like in the pokemon game, you ride a bike down lavender town and you can't cross the junction because you are blocked by snorlax and you don't have a pokeflute. You can also see it as appearing inside a room, with dozens of hot pretty girls, that has no door. Yes, you've got it. It is frustrating and suffocating.

While the city of townsville is under the motivation of uni socialisation and ord, there have been reports of mojojojo attacks. Looks like uni life is going to be stressful. Is it still worth looking forward to it? Somehow, I think my perception of uni could be twisted towards the optimist's side.

Karaoke session with junhe kokli junyang sly zhenghui jeremy. I tried to sing songs that weren't usually sung by ppl hehe. Not bad! I like the part when we all tried vitas's opera 2. FUN! Been wanting to give it a try but can't scream at home.

Lame plot, but scary. I can see why it's a comedy also lol. More exciting towards the end.

Sat, celebration for kokli's and qingping's birthday! huimin qp jas kokli jaisheng cheeyee ghim boon. qp's a happy girl with bryan. Icecream cake form swensen's! w/o steel knife and w/o one of the candle holder. Good job swensen's staff from plaza sing. China worker again. Always the problematic ones.

Just as boon and I expected, no one else wanted to have a drink and chat. Sigh. Then jianyu was able to make it for a drink + to go congratulate qp with his sincere appearance, so the 3 of us plus a jasmine went to yellow jello. huimin and friends were also there, so erm ok I'm not very open actually. Ok the chat was quite difficult but still, not too bad, sensitive topics that we wouldn't usually share. Music was very loud, but can't dance cos the atmosphere just wasn't there. Garrr. Holding on to jianyu's promise of going to club after ord.

The next day was a family outing at some place with waterfall at msia. Can't rmb malay names. It was machiam like a racial harmony day. But correct luh, I'm in msia, not sg.

Of course, holidays can't be THAT smooth-sailing. Monday guard duty with kokli. But still super relaxing hahaha. Under my influence, kokli got lazier and wanted to slack more :D It was a fun duty and time passed really quickly.

I used to think I'm not scared of cats. Now, I find them creepy O.O There was a wild cat roaming around the first floor, desperate for food. We couldn't feed it because it would just ask for more food instead of relying on its survival instincts to hunt. Nah, we didn't want to feed it cos it might just stay there forever and trouble us.




Anyway, the actions done by cats are mysteriously weird. Just look at this cat with an arched back. Eerie.



I prefer dogs.



Tuesday
morning tuition, afternoon gym with kokli guowei. Went to lot 1 at night for dinner and sampled 10 different brands of mooncake. That's when kokli n i thought of buying some quality mooncakes to share for 01, which was kind of fail.

Wednesday
morning badminton with army gang. Erm, boring. It can only be interesting if either 1. the guys are around my standard or 2. they are ppl whom i know v well or 3. they are interactive. So these guys don't talk (with the exception of jingyang cos he talked too much and his speech has no content) and I can't clique with them, and they also don't really play their best. So I dunno wat they were doing.

visited h&m with kokli. Oh my god. The stuff there is cheap and nice. Gotta earn more money.

went taka to sample like 50-70 different brands of mooncake with kokli.

why are we so gay. I have no idea. I wish I had a girl to accompany me instead.

morning tuition. afternoon braces.

planned this long ago actually. But it was the 7th month last time, and Sam was very reluctant to go all the way to the east to cycle. So.. anyway it happened when I tapped on jingx's linwei's sam's and jeremy's enthusiasm and took over the conducting role.

I suggested playing 24 while we were resting. Then, we wanted to make the game more exciting. The last guy to think of the answer will have to stay behind for 30s, while the rest of us will proceed to the next pavilion and start the next set of cards. The person with the most number of cards at the end of the game would have to do a forfeit and I suggested shouting XXX at the jetty. Sadly, no one wants to do the forfeit -.- No game is fun without forfeit!

Anyway it was pretty fun. It's like running man, the variety show in korea, but we call it the "cycling man". And I could never lose LOL!

morning tuition. Then another tuition in the evening, then the annual 01 mid-autumn fes gathering. I'd say the mooncakes weren't really popular. Sigh. Wrong flavours. But then again I dunno wat else we could do alr. At least ppl were singing to the songs and chillaxing.

Played 24 again. 01 girls are reaaalllll smart. Poor clarence lol. More forfeits!! :D

Saturday
noon tuition. Attended my cousin's wedding dinner at a restaurant in Novotel. I must say, it was a rather fail wedding. Uninteresting flow of events. No games. No astounding march-in or watsoever. Or maybe my standard's too high haha. Wedding is a once in a lifetime affair. Why not make it a blast for ur wife?

But then again, I'm too young to be speaking of weddings.





It's been some time since I've met up with them. I guess everyone has his own life, unless circumstances make people's paths cross, and only then can bonds be forged, but even so, maintaining it is another matter.


But that is when we are completely relying on destiny. Fate changes the circumstances that we're in, and our actions change fate.



Lastly, this was one good dinner, in terms of its food, because I've always thought wedding dinners are not supposed to fill ur stomach LOL! This was so filling!

And poor me, my face got red even though I only drank half a cup of red wine. -.- Then ppl come asking me "eh u ok ma? how much did u drink". -.- I shy luh can? Surrounded by pretty girls every time I drink. How can I not blush?

Sunday
morning tuition.

GGGGG. What I've been fearing of.. is here. Statistics. My tutee asked me to revise statistics with him. And all these while I've only been doing pure math. LOL. Can I study statistics in 1 week? Plus the fact that I have FTT test this friday and I haven't studied a single shit?

september holidays

Finally a september holiday without homework or test or stress or outfield!

What's even better? 12KM ROUTE MARCH CANCELLED LOL. I'll hug u if I could, mr sky, for giving me free rain on my birthday hahaha.

Book in on tues, book out on wed :D then I started worrying about rotting at home. But nope! Busy like mad!

Thurs -- tuition, gym
Fri -- badminton, tuition x 2
Sat -- tuition x 2, 01, museum, book in, sleep 1.5hrs
Sun -- waste time and energy till 11am, eat, tuition


As we can see, my life is tuition everyday. How will I still want to be a teacher next time?? Crazy. I need to think of simpler ways to prove my points, because I like it when teachers are like that. Although I'm not going to become a teacher next time, how can I be a good one? What I'm learning now is putting myself in others' shoes.
During sunday's tuition, I daydreamed non-stop. I had some time cos my tutee was doing a qns. Then, I was in another world in super weird situations, and I opened my eyes again in a dreamy state and nearly wanted to turn to my left and talk to the auntie in my dream. It was insane. I can even dream of sth when I only dozed off momentarily. Great mind of mine eh?


badminton was fun with jeremy sam edwin. But I got a baluku at the back of my head T.T still hurts now, hope my intelligent juice don't leak out, if not many there won't be any great invention from this generation..


Once again, I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to still have friends, even more for the fact that we know each other since 101. why? No idea. You can say it's an 01 outing, or a NTU outing! huimin jane vivien kokli me. The light festival was rare and uncommonly seen, but I really dunno what I'm supposed to appreciate LOL?! Museum was better cos there were some interesting old stuff. Too bad we missed eating tau hway.

Go there afk like statues/information counter. Runners keep coming and ask questions like "whr is the bus stop?" when the bus stop is only 50m in front of them. I also got to see how fucked up singaporeans are. 5 dustbins with diameter around 50cm placed at the kerb of the road, each one of them is 1m apart from the other. Runners are supposed to finish their bananas as they ran and throw the skin into the bins. Miss. MISS MISS MISS. WTF?! They might as well declare that they have problems aiming the spoon into their mouth when they eat!?!??!


















That's not the worst. Just because there was some bastard who threw the banana skin deliberately on the grass patch, others just follow suit. WTF?! This is not an issue about aiming anymore. It's courtesy. Doesn't mean that the ground is dirty => you can dirty it even more. Shame on them. Yet, I'm the one feeling the embarrassment from their opprobrious conduct. Can't they be more considerate? Marathon runners very big?

And normally these kind of ppl are from the older generation. Not that I want to discriminate against the elderly or disrespect them. But some of them think they are old birds, or lao jiao, then act like bosses. Old = big fuck? Being old gives you the privilege of doing anything you want?


WHICH REMINDS ME
of the groping incident in bus 190. That asshole tried to squeeze the rather old lady towards the window and according to a commuter who was standing, his hands were on her thigh. AND BY THE WAY HE IS AN OLD UNCLE, AGAIN PROVING MY PREVIOUS POINT. I was sitting behind him, what could I do? Make a fuss out of it? Kicked his seat in an attempt to wake up his idea, but the bus trip was already rough enough to shake his seat.

I was thinking, maybe he took advantage of the rough bus ride and inch towards the lady every bump the bus made. Act 一个 sleeping and listening to music with earphone with a droopy head some more. Okay, maybe he was really sleeping from my point of view, but the commuter's look of disgust confirmed my suspicion. Luckily that incident didn't last long and the lady alighted.

I didn't have any affinity with manhattan fish market. Why? Was supposed to enjoy the 1-for-1 deal on wed nights out, but we chose carl's jr and watched rise of the planet of the apes instead. Could have the chance to eat it on sat for lunch but we chose mac. And so on..

First time singing with vballers on sunday. I must say it was a weird experience LOL! I think vball group is more suited for physical activities or games.


Right after duty, tuition, badminton with archers, then tuition again T.T Hectic life. And I must say, the people with whom you do activities with play a large role in determining the derivation of satisfaction from the activities. Doesn't mean you enjoy XX with group A means you will also enjoy it with group B.

yes the whole day today I just feel like sleeping -.-

I felt very out of place. I was wearing a t-shirt and looked very under-dressed. Everyone else who was not in our group was smoking. Some people were very high, for some reason, while I was there, looking around, trying to get used to the surroundings and busying with leveling up my situational awareness.

I have been wondering what is my limit for alcohol. So that day, I just spammed the drinks. Around 8 cups with mixers, and a few random pure shots from the bottle. Siao. Once the effect kicked in, I was a goner. I was conscious but very very very dizzy. I even vomited twice in the toilet. That's how horrible it was. So I'm guessing, my limit should be around 4-5cups. And seriously, I prefer sweet drinks. Come thy sugar. Envelop me and fill me with.. wait, no. I need da gym n run.

Dancing was however fun! It is a very loose activity that allows you to de-stress by singing out loudly and jumping/shaking around. We got high easily and just went into the pool of people and zaaaaaaar. Actually I don't even know if that's called dancing. It was sooooo packed, 10 times worse than inside a mrt during peak hours. Everyone just went in and bua. But I do remember the champagne shower song being played and everyone was shouting along with hand gestures. Fun.

The very next day I suffered from hangover symptoms like fatigue and dizziness. But it was really fun before I couldn't take it lol. I'm such a poor drinker. $62.80 I'd rather buy a new shirt.

National Day Dinner @ Lot 1

Before clubbing was national day dinner. 9 course dinner that was quite yummy but not filling at all. It's like a 黄金年华 luh. 150 tables filled up by old uncles and aunties. There was a gift for august babies! Not bad huh? So I queued up excitedly and guess what the gift was.

wtf? And that's not all. The first few lucky draw "winners" got 5 x national day tote bag. wtf?? What a lousy gift. We were all hoping not to get called up stage to claim the tote bags.

4km route march with soft armour plates. At first I thought we were really lucky to not be marching with hard armour plates because they weigh a ton!! But apparently that is the case for all the companies. Then I saw Archer company marching without weapon. WTF!! How suay are we to have route march and be on standby-operation?!

Fortunately, we were the first company to book out on friday at 2pm + ^^. We got all eyes staring at us from all the other companies ah hahaha. Finally, cougar had its rest!

The idea initiated by me was dismissed and rejected without any thought into it. The same idea proposed by another guy was understood and accepted. Why? Just because I like to joke around, does that mean every time I open my mouth, I'm joking? Ever tried listening to the content of my speech before deciding if it's crap or not? Is there a need to be so judgemental? Do you need lessons on reading facial expressions to tell if someone is serious or joking? It's a completely unfair dismissal of my ideas leh, not even a moment of consideration. Not funny hor. Do you like it when everything you say gets repelled for illogical reasons? Once in pw, and now this, and of cos some other times that I forgot.

Just what is my problem? I provide entertainment, but it backfired. I be serious, people ask me not to emo.
